Halloween

Ruby is going to be a Caterpillar for Halloween. It is really cute. She sometimes doesn't care that its on and other times she wants to just cry. I hope that she will do OK for Halloween, not like we are going very far. Ella and Louie were over and we had fun taking pictures in their costumes. Check out Ruby's Photo Album of a few more pictures. We are going to take Eddie's pictures tomorrow.

Ruby's 1st Snow

Deck the halls with ball of Holly. Falalalasl........Let is Snow!! To our surprise there was no more grass. They always say its going to snow or rain but I don't really believe them. Ruby had a great time. I know what your thinking.. where's her jacket. I took it off just for a few minutes to get some cute pictures because her hat matched her outfit. Don't worry grandma it wasn't that cold. Well I guess it was cold enough for snow. Klint already yelled at me. I won't do it again. She was so cute. She always loves to be outside. She is walking all over. She is eating more people food. She says dada and mama, I know this sounds crazy but she also says fish, duck and hello. Don't believe me ask my sister. We are going to have a fun holiday season this year. I already want to buy her so many cute outfits. It hard. Well talk later.

Family Picture-Ruby 8 Months

We went for a walk to look at the fall colors and decided to take a family picture. It was chilly out but very pretty. We let Ruby down to walk on the path and right away put a rock in her mouth. That was the end of that. We all have just gotten over a cold. Ruby is walking all over the place. It is so much fun watching her change. We just love it.

New Kitchen

Well we got Ruby a new kitchen set from pottery barn. It was going to be her Christmas present but i figured she's not going to know the difference and Ella and Louie ( my niece and nephew that I watch 2 days a week) would love to play with it. So we put it in her room. She also does a lot of cooking. Well maybe not but when she gets a little bigger she will be able to see over the sink. It's really so cute how she tries to play. She thinks that opening the doors is really cool. Anything to keep her happy. She may be a bit spoiled. We just love her so much.

7 1/2 months NEW SHOES

Yesturday we went to Stride Rite and bought her 1st pair of Shoes. She really would rather not have shoes on. She did take a few more steps in them today. It was so funny she started walking behind her walker last night and just couldn't do it with her new kicks on so she decided to walk behind it on her knees. She's a funny girl. The lady at the shoe place just couldn't believe that she was walking.

Ruby 7 Months

Well she is getting really good at walking behind her walker. She is starting to take a few more steps. She's a really big girl. She started eating some more food. Toast, banana's and yogurt. Klint has a hard time feeding her anything but a bottle.....Boys...... She loves her cheerios.

Bath in the Sink

Funny.... Ruby's in the sink having a bath. I was sunburned from our camping trip and i didn't want to lean over in the bath tub, but silly me this is so much easier and she has more fun splashing in the water. I will keep doing this as long as she fits.

1st Fish

Ruby also caught her 1st fish of the dock. She would hold the pole and reel with the other hand. She's a natural. It was very cute. Her daddy was proud

Ruby's 1st boat ride

We went camping up at Ham Lake with my sister Jenny. Ruby went on a boat ride for the 1st time. Lets just say she really didn't like her live jacket. She did end up falling asleep, which she was so cute. Camping was not my cup of tea. Ruby did really good, mommy likes a bed and shower. Next time we'll get a hotel. No we did have fun. It was a beautiful weekend.

Finally Sleeping through the NIGHT

Well Ruby is the best girl. The doctor told us we had to let her cry it out herself at night. SO we did.......Not knowing how long she would cry for was really hard. The first night was the hardest. She only cried for a 1/2 hour. We were very surprised. She did wake up 2 time at night but only cried for 5 min. and 30 seconds the next time. Then next night she cried 1/2 hour again but slept all night and the next night was 5 min. Every night after she has fallen asleep either with her bottle or we put her in awake but very tired and she has slept all night. We have to wake her up in the morning when we go to work. She is also standing by herself for a few seconds. I think we may have a little walker soon. Thats all she wants to do is stand. We are going camping tomorrow for the night and Ruby will get her 1st boat ride.

6 Months

Ruby is already 6 months. She is eating more solid foods. She started crawling the other day. We also had to lower her crib all the way down because she is standing. She is the strongest baby is swear. She is a little ball of energy, I think that when she really gets going she isn't going to stop. We were just at her 6th months visit and she is 17 1/2 pounds- she's a keeper. she is 27 3/4 inches long and has her daddy's big head. We still love them both. She is still getting up every hour or 2 so the Doc said we have to let her cry it out. We are going to do that tonight. It will be a bad weekend. Me and Daddy might start crying as well. I'll let you know how it went.

Up North

It was Ruby's 1st time up north. We had a good time. It was cold. It was harder to do stuff with her because she is so little but we went swimming and went for walks. Went down to the rocks by the lake. We went on a boat ride. That was really fun.

Ruby's Tree 5 1/2 months

Well we are a little late putting this post in.... But we planted this beautiful flowering apple tree for Ruby. It sits right outside her window. This type of tree doesn't produce any fruit just white flowers.

5 Months

Can 5 Months really go buy this fast. I know I say that each time but I really can't believe how fast it goes. Well my baby is now 5 Months old. She is almost crawling. I think we may have a ways to go but she wants to go. She has also decided not to sleep through the night any more. I hope this is just a faze because I don't know how people do it. She loves her food, of course, the fruits are her favorite's. She will play with her toys to keep herself busy for a while. That's really nice when I'm getting ready for work. She is also laughing now. Wow can her daddy get her going. I try but he really has the touch. Next week me and Ruby will be going to the North Shore. I have gone every year with my mom, sisters, aunts and cousins. It has been a tradition for many years and this will, obviously, be Ruby's 1st time. I hope she loves it as much as we do. 4th of July

For the 4th of July we went to the Zoo in the Morning. It was a little rainy but we still had a great time. Ruby loves the aquarium. I think we may need to get one at home. Then we came home for a while so Ruby could sleep. After that we went over to my Aunt Mary's house and went swimming for the 1st time with Ruby. I didn't know if she would like it but she had fun. After that we had a barbecue and watched fireworks. Ruby also liked the fireworks. She didn't even cry, she didn't get to watch all of them because she was tuckered out from the busy day. We had a great 1st 4th of July as a family. Many more to come.

Ruby Sitting

Ruby has learned to sit by herself. She is really enjoying playing with her toys while she can sit now. Its so fun to see her getting bigger. When I lay her down she will roll over to her tummy and try to sit up. She hasn't yet accomplished that yet. She is having a blast. She just gets cuter every day.

Ruby's Baptism June 14th

Ruby had a great day. It was her baptism, she was baptized at St. Thomas Becket church in Eagan. We had practiced pouring water on her head so she wouldn't cry and she didn't. She thought it was so much fun. She never cried the whole day, she really had a great day. We received many great gift, so thank you to everyone who came and shared our day. We are also going to get a tree from gerten's for her baptism and to watch the tree grow with Ruby. It will be Ruby's tree. Kory, Klint's brother is Ruby's Godfather and Mary my sister is the Godmother.

Cereal, Cereal, Cereal

This is Ruby's 1st time with Cereal. She is loving it. In about 2 weeks we can add some fruit. I think she is going to be a good eater. This is so much fun for me. I can't believe how fast the time goes. She was just a tiny baby. I guess its sad to see the tiny baby go, but really fun to see the next stage. I'm so happy being a mom.

4 months

wow, is she getting big. We had our 4 month doctors appointment and she is 24 1/2 inches long, 14 pounds 9 ounces. She is getting big. We can start cereal soon. She is still sleeping most nights from about 7:30 pm to about 5:30 or 6 am. She is really the best girl.

Ruby 3/12 Months

It was Klint's Birthday on May 23rd. He Did a lot of fishing this weekend. Katie's Birthday is this Friday on May 29th and we are going to go fishing. What a shock. Ruby thinks that she wants to start walking soon. Not really but you can hold her hands and she will take a few steps. That's not so good for me if she starts running around here soon. We are doing great here. She is really a great baby. Happy Memorial Day!

I just started back to work and that was very hard. I;m going to go down to working 3 days a week. Jenny my sister is going to watch Ruby and I will watch her kids the other 2 days. Hopefully this will work out.

Wow, do they grow fast. Ruby is so much fun. She is starting to smile more and has rolled over a few times. I wish i could stay home ever day with her. Being a mom is so much fun.

Ruby Rose Nadeau was born. What a wonderful day. I was scheduled at 7:30 am for my C-Section and had Ruby at 8:01. She was 8 pounds 2 ounces and 19 inches long. She is so beautiful.
